A Parent’s 101 Guide To Nourishing Little People

My aim is to provide parents with inspiration and simple advice for nourishing their little monkeys, as I embark on the adventure of feeding my own.

As a first-time mom I know I am not alone when I say that I sometimes feel like a deer caught in the headlights. Add to this, the pressure that comes with introducing your little one to solids, and then providing them with the most nutritious meals possible to ensure they are getting everything they need to develop and thrive (and possibly also become a child prodigy).

Becoming a mom to Lex in September in 2015 and embarking on the exciting (and oh so daunting) journey of motherhood, inspired me to research and read up on all the right things I should be doing to nourish my baby boy.

I know that every parent out there just needs some simple guidance that doesn’t require reading mounds of literature (in between trying to raise little people and running a home). This blog aims to answer all of your questions around nourishing your little one – a nutrition 101 for babies, toddlers and even older children – with some practical tips, ideas and recipes to make feeding your child an adventure.

Whether you’re a health nut who knows a superfood for every letter of the alphabet or whether your version of a balanced diet means ensuring you have the same ratio of chocolate to wine, I know that every parent wants to give their child the very best start in life – and that starts with smart nutrition and a whole lot of love around meal times.
